River of Light 2017

Open to the public, Workshop, Social event

The River of Light project puts a focus on children's rights and is a meeting point for unaccompanied minors, young people, families and art enthusiasts in Gothenburg.

During the workshop sessions facilitated by local artists, each participant will create a lantern which they can then carry in the procession on UN's World Day of Social Justice.

The procession will begin and end at Akademin Valand (Vasagatan 50) and conclude with music, food and celebration. The workshops will also be hosted at Akademin Valand.
